2026 Captains’ Drive-Ins — A New Year Tradition

We were delighted to welcome in the new golfing year with our traditional Captains’ Drive-In on New Year’s Day. Members came along to support and cheer on our new captains as they officially launched their year in office — and there were some fantastic tee shots on display!

Here’s how they got on:
• Al Narraway — Club Captain: 191 yards
• Sheila Cleary — Lady Captain: 139 yards
• Alec Wood — O&B Captain: 195 yards
• Harry Warren — Junior Captain: 258 yards

Just two days later, it was the turn of our Northcliffe Captain, Michael Clancy, to take his Drive-In. With plenty of support watching on, Michael struck a fine effort that finished just 68 yards from the pin — a brilliant way to start his year in office.

Congratulations to all our captains, and we wish them a hugely enjoyable and successful 2026 ahead!
